Safari Chef

Ninety stages across six countries, each one a physics puzzle about getting food to an animal.

Safari Chef

A physics puzzle with a cooking frame. The chef travels through Brazil, Spain, Greenland, Mexico, Kenya and Japan, and each of the ninety stages is a small mechanical problem: the food is up there, the animal is down here, and gravity is the only delivery service available.

Six countries means six sets of props rather than six reskins. What has to be cut, dropped or bounced changes with the location, so the middle of the game keeps introducing rules instead of repeating the first ones faster.

Stages are short and restart instantly, which is what a physics puzzle needs when the solution is usually one adjustment away.

Controls

Click or tap objects to cut, drop or release them.

How to Play

  1. Look at where the food starts and where the animal waits.
  2. Work out what has to move first.
  3. Cut or release objects in that order.
  4. Collect the stars if the route allows it.

Tips & Tricks

When a stage looks unsolvable, check whether something needs to be released later rather than sooner — delay is a move in these puzzles, not a mistake.
