Birds Puzzle

This is one of a family of jigsaw sets on the site built on the same engine — six images, four piece counts, no timer — and it is worth saying so plainly rather than pretending each is a different game. What separates them is the subject, and here the subject is birds.

That matters more in a jigsaw than it would elsewhere. Plumage gives strong colour separation, so these boards sort faster than the ones built on fur or on open water.

Twenty-four boards from six pictures, and nothing gated behind anything else.

Controls

Drag pieces into place with the mouse or a finger.

How to Play

  1. Pick one of the six images.
  2. Choose a piece count between 16 and 100.
  3. Sort by plumage colour before placing.
  4. Finish and try a higher count.

Tips & Tricks

Bird pictures reward colour sorting more than most subjects. Separate the wing pieces from the body pieces before you start and the hundred-piece board stops being intimidating.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from the other jigsaw sets here?

The engine and the four modes are shared across several of them; the subject is what changes, and plumage sorts faster than fur or water.
