Wolf Jigsaw

Wolf Jigsaw offers six puzzles built around one of the most striking wild animals. Wolves photograph well for a jigsaw: their pale eyes, sharp ears and layered grey coats give strong features to build around, even when the background is snow or forest.

The set is arranged as a progression. You begin with the first picture, and finishing it unlocks the next, so the six images are worked through one after another rather than picked at random. That gives a sense of moving forward and keeps you from skipping straight to a favourite.

Each picture has three difficulty settings. Easy uses 25 pieces, medium uses 49, and hard goes up to 100. The step from 49 to 100 roughly doubles the number of pieces, which is where a wolf’s fur becomes the real challenge, since shades of grey repeat across the coat and background alike. Choosing a lower count first is a good way to learn each picture before tackling the full board.
