Find Cat

One idea, executed patiently: a blue British shorthair has hidden, and the room is the puzzle. Under the sofa, inside a box, in a toy, in somebody’s hat — the game keeps a straight face about how ordinary the hiding places are, and that is what makes finding them satisfying.

Each scene is static, so this rewards looking rather than reacting. The good hiding spots are the ones where part of the animal is visible and reads as something else entirely until you notice the shape.

Rounds are short and there is no penalty for a wrong click, which keeps it comfortable for younger players.

1. Look over the whole scene before clicking.
2. Check the places a real cat would choose first.
3. Click the spot when you are sure.
4. Move on to the next room.
